Project Description: The work in general consists of pavement rehabilitation on various streets including grind and asphalt concrete overlay and rubberized cape seal, associated striping and pavement markings, and pedestrian curb ramp replacements. Also included are restriping and signage improvements throughout various locations in the City.

Project Description: This project includes the open cut replacement of approximately 800 lineal feet of storm drain lines, as well as the replacement of existing storm drain structures at key locations within Piedmont’s storm drain network. The project also includes the rehabilitation or replacement of approximately twenty sanitary sewer manholes. Manholes shall be rehabilitated and/or replaced in accordance with EBMUDS regional standards.

The City is seeking proposals for professional landscape maintenance services at various parks, medians and facilities throughout the City. The work to be performed shall be in accordance with the Landscape Maintenance Specifications, attached as Exhibit I, and the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP details the minimum requirements of a company (Contractor) that will provide expertise, personnel and supervision to perform specific maintenance services at the identified facilities to the highest standards of horticultural excellence. It is essential that the selected Contractor assign specific personnel who display professional skill and behavior, and are best suited to work seamlessly with City personnel. The nature of the work shall consist of the following general categories. More detailed requirements of the Scope of Work can be found in the Landscape Maintenance Specifications.

Description of Work: The work in general consists of removal and replacement of concrete driveways, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement and such other items of work as are required to complete the project.

The City of Piedmont (City) is requesting Proposals from contractors to provide a new access control system, as described in this Scope of Work. The Technology drawings will give further clarification to the Scope of Work.

In general, the Project Plans indicate dimensions, position and kind of construction, and the Technical Specifications indicate qualities and methods. Any Work indicated on the Project Plans and not mentioned in the Technical Specifications or vice versa must be furnished as though fully set forth in both. Work that is not particularly detailed, marked or specified shall be the same as similar Work that is detailed, marked or specified. The Contractor must furnish items necessary for the operation of equipment depicted in the Project Plans or specified in the Technical Specifications that are suitable to allow such equipment to function properly at no extra charge.

The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, apparatus, facilities, material labor, and skill necessary to perform and complete in a good and workmanlike manner the Grand Avenue Paving and Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project (“Work”) as shown in the Technical Specifications and Project Plans in accordance with the Contract Documents and applicable law.

The work in general consists of asphalt concrete pavement, rubberized cape seal, minor concrete, curb ramp and sidewalk, striping and pavement markings, signage, and such other items of work as are required to complete the project.
